There's something wrong with our school's clubs

I don't know what it is but it feels like the clubs in my place feel kind of, disconnected, in a way? I mean, I do like the fact that clubs exist in my school to begin with. But, this disconnection has to be addressed someday. I feel that a big change must come for the future of clubs in this school.

First of all, clubs do not have a dedicated area or room in the school. Rather, they would have group chats for a club. This is where all the meetings and planning would take place. It's definitely something, especially when we lack any sort of buildings in our school as of the moment, but it feels kind of meh for me. I'd rather have a club that would be more personal instead of just being a bunch of text and images on a screen.

Second of all, it all just feels why too 'corporate' in a way. People text our club to give tasks to us, and that's pretty much it. There's little to no connection happening with others. Because of that, the clubs, in general, here are kind of dull in nature. They would only give out tasks to us on regular days, and every time a fun activity is given out, it has to be on a special day. Why can't it be just a regular day as well?

I can't blame them, really. The school in this country really works by the clock, cramming everything into every second. In the end, we barely have any time for anything. So, really, I am blaming a bigger figure, the department of education itself, for giving out too much subjects with half-assed materials.

Hopefully, somewhere in the future, what I truly envision in a club would come to life here in this country; a club with a dedicated time and place where people of similar interest would truly connect and create something meaningful with a sense of belonging and purpose. In short, a club that is truly a club.
